Top-class hospital in Panagyurishte opens soon and is expected to be among the leading hospitals in the Balkan region. The multi-million project is assigned to Daticum JSC.  The company is commissioned to build the entire IT infrastructure of the renovated local hospital (“Subo Nikolov”) in Panagyurishte. Daticum JSC is part of Sirma Group Holding, which is in process of initial public offering (IPO) of Bulgarian Stock Exchange till Oct, 15.

The new hospital will have a completely new technological infrastructure. Daticum will design, deliver and build a new data center, with a private cloud infrastructure, in order to support network connectivity in the hospital. Additionally, it includes desktop virtualization for workstations, wireless network, communication and medical calls system, CCTV and access control, and delivery of end-user devices.

The complex technological infrastructure of the hospital in Panagyurishte will serve and coordinate over 500 professionals, and support staff, each of them having access to a variety of medical processes and data. The hospital will offer the most innovative software systems and facilities for medical diagnosis, process management and patient treatment. The new local hospital will serve patients now being treated abroad.

“The biggest challenge in the project is the integration of eleven complex IT systems, which are the foundation of entire structure for patient treatment and care. At the same time, communication systems will enable medical staff not only to have timely access to medical information, related to their patients, but also to train young professionals in the most advanced practices, through partnerships with leading medical centers in the world”, said Rosen Marinov, CEO of Daticum JSC.

Estimated worth of the investment in hospital “Subo Nikolov” is about 55 million BGN. The new hospital complex is the largest project in Bulgarian healthcare sector for the past 25 years, and the major investor is “Assarel Panagyurishte Health” LTD. The company will build and develop a high-tech hospital complex with an oncology center. The hospital will provide a comprehensive range of specialist healthcare services.

This advanced medical technologies and equipment will allow to simultaneously use diagnostic imaging methods (PET-CT, MRI, CT, robotic angiography, ultrasonic methods, etc.) alongside with surgery and the latest invasive methods for the first time in Bulgaria. In addition, modern telecommunication systems will connect the hospital with leading centres of excellence abroad, specialized in all disciplines, which will provide quality and world class of medical expertise to Bulgarian patients. The hospital has 268 beds and 520 medical and non-medical staff, which will train annually, and this investment worth about 400 000 BGN too.
