Location
Daticum's data centre is located in Sofia on 135 Tsarigradsko Shosse. The unit covers a total area of 432 sq m and has an initial capacity of 70 server racks. The location is in compliance with all requirements for environment and prevention of disasters. The walls are built of 450 mm concrete and electromagnetic shielding, to prevent attacks, unwanted surveillance, malicious acts and disasters.

Power Supply
The data centre is powered by two independent power supply units with a capacity of up to 700 kW each. Despite the double reserve, the centre is equipped with a diesel powered generator with a capacity of 600 kVA securing the virtually uninterruptible power supply. The centre has also six UPS systems of 120 kVA each in two synchronized groups of three units each. The two UPS systems power each rack via a physically different route thus guaranteeing uninterruptible power supply regardless of any possible faults or human errors. This architecture secures a 99.999999 % availability.
Precise Climate control
A total of six climate control systems with a combined power of 300 kW are provided to maintain a constant temperature of 20 degrees centigrade. Cold air is distributed through the double floor via special channels to the server racks. A constant humidity rate of 50% is maintained by the use of special vapor catching systems to ensure correct work of the equipment. A specialized system is installed to localize water leaks and the prevent malfunction in case of flooding. The centre also features a system to use the dissipated heat from the racks to heat water.
Fire prevention
The data centre features a fully automated fire prevention and control system – in the ceiling, the double floor and in the centre hall. In case of emergency the alarm systems goes on, all doors are locked off and 30 seconds are granted to all personnel and visitors to evacuate the premises. Inert gas in introduces in the data centre, absorbing all oxygen to stop any fire. In case of problems with the evacuation a gas delay buttons are installed to guarantee the life and health of the personnel. After the fire is cut out the rooms are automatically ventilated to allow normal work. All systems in the datacenter are fire-proof and will continue working in such an emergency.
Connectivity
Connectivity is ensured via optic cables on two independent and separate lines, with media to all major MAN providers in each of them. A special security system is provided featuring physical double equipment by CISCO and Juniper, providing IPS, IDS, FW, DoS, routing, switching, and shaping services at Layer 2and Layer 3 levels. Network connectivity to each rack is provided on four lines with two ports of each network system. The centre has an integrated monitoring system covering any give location in the data center. The technical support team is available 24 х 7 х 365.
Security and access control
The centre and all supporting systems have a 24 hour live guard, with the support of mobile armed units in case of emergency. All equipment is under constant video surveillance and each and every event is recorded. The centre features a specially designed access control system for the support team and the visitors and there is also a system to monitor the route of the visitor to the allowed racks, and the time spent on a given task. All activities are video recorded. Records are provided to the clients upon request. The centre has another special hall with additional access control for equipment of storing personal data, according to national and EU standards.
